We know you're counting down the days till you can strap on your skis and fly down the mountain, but don't forget to enjoy the bounties of the shortest, most colorful season. Cooler weather and fall foliage aren't the only things to savor either because from Sunday, October 1 through Sunday, October 15, local restaurants invite you to come out for the annual "Dine About." The event offers you the chance to partake of the crème de la crème of Park City's dining scene at an incredible value. With two course lunches priced from $10 or $15 and $20 or $40 three course dinners, now it the time to get out to that restaurant you've been meaning to try.

Two Course Lunches for Only $10 or $15

Splurge on lunch without splurging on lunch, what could be better than that! So what do you get in the $10 category. Cafe Trio is serving up a brussel sprout "ceasar" salad with parmesan frico and olive oil fried croutons and brioche grilled cheese (St. Andre brie, smoked gouda, and romesco) and tomato soup. Want a surprise? Head over to Wasatch Brew Pub where the Dine About menu changes every day!

Other restaurants offering $10 lunch: Baja Cantina, Squatters Roadhouse Grill, and Sushi Blue.

Things get even better if you decide to go all out for $15. At the Red Tail Grill you can start off with a beet salad made with arugula, goat cheese, spiced almonds, and a Spanish honey vinaigrette or the daily soup and then choose from three gourmet sandwiches (spicy grilled chicken, smoked brisket, American burger) accompanied with kohlrabi slaw or fries. Or maybe Deer Valley Grocery Café's menu of coconut wild mushroom soup and sweet sake glazed meatballs with black rice, scallions, fresh jalapeño, pickled pomegranate seeds, pea shoots, and cilantro oil is more your thing.
Other restaurants offering $15 lunch: Bistro 412, DEN Restaurant at Park City Marriott, Escala Provisions Restaurant, Grub Steak Restaurant, Powder at Waldorf Astoria, Riverhorse Provisions, and Twisted Fern

Decadent Three Course Dinners for $20 or $40

Unless you're picking up dinner at the drive through, it's almost impossible to have a three course dinner under $20 except for during the Dine About. Sink your teeth into a 12 oz. Pork Porterhouse, truffle flavored roasted red potato "toadstools" served with butter lathered carrots and asparagus, preceded by a yellow and red beet salad, and followed by crème brûlée at the Timbers Lounge in the Park City Marriott. Or head over for an Italian dinner at Versante in the Park City Peaks Hotel. Start with the soup de jour or salad, followed by your choice of house spaghetti and meatballs or grilled chicken alfredo, and finally a white chocolate pot de crème made with Frangelico, whipped cream, and fresh raspberries.

Other restaurants offering $20 three course dinners: Baja Cantina, Cafe Trio, Red Rock Junction, Squatters Roadhouse Grill, and Wasatch Brew Pub.

If you're willing to hit the $40 mark, you're in for an even more extravagant treat at some of Park City's most premier dining spots. Try the house made chamoy glazed wings, boneless beef short ribs served with asparagus, thyme potato gnocchi, Italian sausage bolognese, and cola float with house made vanilla ice cream and balsalmic pickled cherries at the Brass Tag. Seafood aficionados may prefer hitting up Shabu for samurai scallops, your choice of grilled teriyaki salmon, pan-seared beef medallions, or miso glazed cod, and Japanese green tea or mango mochi for dessert.

Other restaurants offering $40 three course: Bistro 412, Butcher's Chop House, Cafe Terigo, Cena Ristorante & Lounge, Chimayo, Escala Provisions Restaurant, Fletcher's, Grappa, Grub Steak Restaurant, Handle, Lespri Prime Steak Sushi Bar, Powder at Waldorf Astoria, Purple Sage, Red Tail Grill, Riverhorse on Main, Silver Star Cafe, and tupelo
