Dig In! Dinner in the Garden - September 10

Summit Community Gardens is going strong and set to end the summer and greet fall with its second annual Dinner-in-the-Garden, DIG In event on September 10 from 3-6 p.m. This is a wonderful family event full of scrumptious, fresh, local food, live music, $5 libations, a chance to enjoy the garden, and win a sweet prize in the opportunity drawing. Modeled after the experience given to guests of New York City's famed James Beard House, the Celebrity Chef Tour offers diners the chance to try out dishes from celebrated chefs and pick their brains at the same time. The event returns to Riverhorse on Main on Saturday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. when Chef Seth Adams hosts Montage Executive Chef Shawn Armstrong, Sheamus Feeley of SF Hospitality Group, Neal Fraser from Redbird and Vibiana in Los Angeles, John Murcko of Firewood, and JBF Award-winning Pastry Chef Dahlia Narvaez of Mossa Group in Los Angeles. If you haven't been to the Farm-t0-Table dinner series at Legends Bar & Grill this summer, this is your last chance to savor the summer harvest. For only $46 (or $70 with the drink pairing), you'll dine like a king on 5 locally sourced, organic dishes whipped up by Park City Mountain's finest chefs. “We love to work with products that are at the peak of their freshness and to challenge ourselves to come up with seasonally inspired dishes that capture the true flavors of both the season and the area," says Mountain Dining Executive Chef Alex Malmborg. Hoppy Hour - September 23

Regardless of whether or not you joined the Summit Land Conservancy for their summer Hops Hunter Hikes series, you're still invited to reap the benefits at Wasatch Brew Pub for Hoppy Hour. From 6 to 10 p.m. on September 23, you can come hang out with friends and sample "Clothing Hoptional," the beer brewed from the hops collected over the summer. In addition to 2 drink tickets, the $15 entry to the event also puts you in the opportunity drawing to win some cool prizes donated from Kuhl, Klean Kanteen, Soul Poles, and Ritual Chocolate! Proceeds from the event help Summit Land Conservancy continue land preservation work around the county similar to the successful B0nanza Flats campaign.

2nd Annual World’s Longest Shot Ski - October 14

We're super excited that the Sunrise Rotary is again teaming up with Wasatch Brew Pub to bring us another rendition of the World's Longest Shot Ski. After Park City beat the Breckenridge record last fall, the Colorado resort town struck back in January, setting a new record of 1,234 people, continuing the friendly rivalry. On October 14 Park City will attempt to bring 1,250 participants out for a drink from a custom-made shot ski (consisting of 440 bolted-together skis) this year. With the purchase of a $25 ticket, you can claim an unreserved spot on the shot ski, entry into the beer garden operated by Wasatch Brew Pub from 12- 6 p.m., and your first beer. You can also opt for a $20 ticket for just the unreserved spot on the shot ski or go all out with a $500 VIP ticket that includes 6 reserved spots on two skis, two skis wrapped with your team or company name to take home as a souvenir, six entrance passes to the Wasatch Beer Garden, and six beer tokens. Remember, all proceeds go right back into Park City non-profits through the Sunrise Rotary and to get your tickets early because this is a popular event!
