There's only two kinds of people in the world: the Irish and those who wish they were Irish. So it comes without surprise that both Park City locals and visitors who aren't of the lineage, will, undoubtedly, pretend there are come St. Patrick's Day. The Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) is set to help you revel with a few holiday-themed specials. “No need for any luck of the Irish here, whether you celebrate at home or head to the restaurants and bars downtown, you’re going to have a blast no matter which establishment you choose this St. Patrick’s Day,” said PCARA Executive Director Ginger Ries.

Whether you're looking to drink like the Irish or you're simply craving corned beef, here's a few worthwhile St. Patrick's Day specials to check out.

Flanagan’s On Main

Leave it to Flanagan's, Park City's premiere Irish pub, to extend the St. Patrick's Day holiday into a multiple-day affair. Between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 a.m. this weekend, the pub is inviting everyone to "Eat and drink until you're a Flanagan." Sink your teeth into prime rib house-made corned beef and cabbage accompanied by your favorite cocktail or green beer (Park City Brewery's Hooker Blonde Ale) while enjoying live music and collecting raffle prizes. Bag pipes and music all day and at 10 p.m. High Octane will hit the stage.

Squatters and Wasatch Brew Pub

Squatters and Wasatch Brew Pub are "Dub'lin Down" with their own line of t-shirts and a healthy dose of drinking (responsibly, of course). This favorite spot to grab a microbrew on Main Street, will be offering traditional corned beef and cabbage along with traditional pub fare as well as Wellied Irish Stout and McGreuh’s Dry Irish Stout in addition to their regular line of libations.

Snow Park Restaurant & EBS Lounge

If you want a more convenient location to the slopes, Deer Valley has you covered. At the Snow Park Restaurant you can indulge in a variety of delicious specials, including Irish lamb stew with a house-made buttermilk rosemary biscuit; carved roulade of lamb loin with orange cranberry chutney, fresh peas and colcannon made from mashed potatoes with shredded cabbage; and a house-made lamb burger with corned beef, pickled cabbage, green peppercorn bacon, Vermont white cheddar and Dijon mustard sauce. The Natural Buffet will also feature assorted Irish salads and toppings.

Heading to the EBS Lounge for après? You can still celebrate with an Irish coffee or any of their other specialty cocktails while eating Irish bangers alongside roasted parsley mashed potatoes, Wasatch ale bacon cheese sauce, and a grilled baguette.

Empire Canyon Grill

Eating on the mountain? Stop by the ski lodge on Empire Mountain at Deer Valley Resort for house-made corned beef and cabbage with 44 Farms brisket, roasted fingerling potatoes, carrots, and marble rye bread or a Reuben sandwich with house-made corned beef, caraway sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, marble rye bread, and Thousand Island dressing.

Other locations feeling the Irish vibes include The Brass Tag, Deer Valley Grocery Café, and Red Rock Brewing. Park City Mountain Resort will also be joining in St. Patrick's day festivities with complimentary muffins, coffee, and hot chocolate (while supplies last) at 8:30 a.m. at the PC Base Area.

So here's wishing you a happy and safe St. Patrick's Day the Irish way: may the sun shine all day long, everything go right and nothing wrong.
