On Sunday, we'll celebrate the ladies who do so much for us. If you're looking to treat your mom, there are some excellent brunch options made especially for the day. Here's what a few local restaurants are serving up in honor of Mother's Day.
Apex at Montage Deer Valley
Brunch buffet: $65 for adults, $30 for children
Head up to the Montage Deer Valley for a decadent Mother's Day brunch featuring classic dishes with a fresh twist. Eggs benedict florentine, Corn Flake-crusted brioche French toast or pan-roasted salmon, a carvery with peppercorn-crusted beef tenderloin and artisan sausage skewers, chilled seafood, four salads, roasted tomato soup, charcuterie and olives, and mouthwatering desserts. Glitretind at Stein Eriksen Lodge
Brunch buffet, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; $58 for adults, $25 for children ages 12 and under
Treat your mother to the famed Sunday brunch at the Stein Eriksen's Glitretind to show your appreciation for all the work she does. The elaborate menu begins with starters such as exquisite chilled cucumber, avocado, and Dungeness crab soup, pickled beets and grilled white asparagus salad, along with a selection of fresh sushi, smoked seafood, and artisan meats. There's also custom omelets and waffles made on order, a host of salads, soups, charcuterie, cheeses, mussels, clams, and no shortage of desserts. Grub Steak Restaurant
Brunch buffet, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; $37.75 for adults, $17.75 for children ages 12 and under
Eager for a brunch filled with sumptuous meats? Head over to Grub Steak for a Mother's Day offering of smoked bone-in ham and roasted turkey breast with mango ginger relish right off the Carvery station. Their cold buffet will be stocked with items like apple-wood house smoked salmon filet, yellow and red tomato skewers with mozzarella and basil and kalamata olive, red onion and feta cheese quiche. The hot buffet features brunch classics like eggs benedict, grilled strip loin of beef, home-style potatoes and more. Don't forget to load up on cheeses, fruits, and desserts to balance it all out!
Powder at Waldorf Astoria
Brunch buffet, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; $60 for adults, $26 for children
Head over to Canyons Village for Powder’s raved-about brunch buffet. Enjoy spinach and mushroom quiche, deviled eggs, caviar, French toast, berries and more; a raw bar with oysters, sashimi, ahi tuna and jumbo shrimp; a carving station with slow roasted prime rib and maple glazed pork loin; a range of soups, vegetables and fish; charcuterie and cheese; a bakery display with breads, danishes, donuts and croissants; and a selection of desserts from the pastry shop.
Riverhorse on Main
Brunch 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; $65 for adults, $35 for children younger than 12
If you're strolling Main Street on Sunday then you need to check out Riverhorse on Main for their exclusive Mother’s Day menu. They'll be serving up Riverhorse favorites crafted with locally sourced ingredients including warm peach fritters, sun-dried tomato and spinach quiche, shrimp and cheddar grits, smoked salmon scramble, huevos rancheros and much more. No brunch would be complete without signature cocktails like the Riverhorse Bloody Mary, Snowstorm Café and the Main Street Peach Mimosa.
If you'll be nearby Kamas and don't want to drive all the way into Park City, head over to the State Road Tavern at the Dejoria Center between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for their brunch ($45 for adults, $20 for children ages 2-12) special. They'll be offering peel-n-eat shrimp, fried chicken-n-waffles, king crab legs, and crab benedict along with plenty of other staples.
