There's no shortage of fine dining options in Park City. But our tony little town also includes plenty of quick, affordable, and tasty options, particularly for lunch. Next time you're looking for a delicious midday meal that won't break the bank, head over to one of these four affordable local restaurants.

El Chubasco

Ask any local for their favorite place to eat on the cheap and you're sure to hear about El Chubasco, hence the frequently packed dining room. Nestled in the heart of the Park City Plaza on Bonanza Drive, this local landmark is sure to hit the spot, whether you're looking for lunch or a late dinner. No frills, just good Mexican food. It's tough to go wrong on this menu, but if you're having trouble narrowing down the choices, we suggest the Chile Relleno or Fish Tacos with rice, beans, chips, and, of course, unlimited trips to the fresh salsa bar. Or you can always grab a burrito--they make at least ten different types fresh every day!

Vessel Kitchen

“Good food choices are good investments...quality ingredients are a currency....” is the motto at Vessel Kitchen. The locally owned and operated joint makes a point of using fresh, seasonal ingredients. You can either choose off their menu, or build your own lunch with multiple sides. If you're in a party with multiple dietary restrictions, this is a great place to check out since they cater to omnivores and vegans alike. Also, they have kombucha on tap.

Atticus Coffee & Teahouse

Main Street is full of fancy dining options, but you won't find a cozier atmosphere to grab lunch than Atticus Coffee & Teahouse. Books, healthy snacks, and a great Main Street locale make Atticus a favorite for locals and tourists alike. If you're stopping in for lunch, we recommend "The Usual," a bagel smothered in cream cheese, avocado, and fresh cracked pepper, for only $6.50 or the packed Veggie Sandwich for $8 (hummus, sharp white cheddar, shredded carrots, cucumbers, sprouts, lettuce, tomato, goddess dressing, salt & pepper on Dave's killer wheat bread; Add avocado for $1 more). Don't forget to pair your food with one of their specialty drinks; the tea lattes are fabulous and Mexican hot chocolate is the bomb.

Backdoor Deli

Stray off of Main Street onto the corner of Swede Alley and Heber Avenue and you'll find Park City's Backdoor Delicatessen. Here you'll find sandwich options  galore. They offer more than 50 different types of sandwiches (10 of which are vegetarian options) as well as fresh soups, salads, and espresso. If your head is spinning from all the different choices, just grab Sandwich #39: hummus, spinach, cucumber, tomato, basil, red onion and feta cheese on multi-grain bread.

Bon appetit!
