The newly renovated Hotel Thaynes.

Stay

If you’re like Lisa Barlow, Premiere Park City owner and star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and you don’t, as she infamously said, “carry Coach and don’t fly coach,” consider booking the Aero x Stein Ericksen Lodge travel package the next time you head to Park City. It includes discounts on best available room rates and round-trip flights from Los Angeles in one of Aero’s sleek semi-private jets, plus daily breakfast for two at Stein’s Glitretind Restaurant and $100 daily resort credit for food, drinks, and spa treatments. Aero flights are now landing at Heber Valley Airport, so you can go from tarmac to ski trails in less than 30 minutes.—TW

Just in time for ski season, the Chateaux Deer Valley has completed a three-year makeover that includes renovated guest rooms; a new heated pool, spa, and gym; and a refreshed lobby and lounge. The Four Seasons Resort Deer Valley is slated to open in 2028.

Last December, plans were announced to build Four Seasons Resort and Residences Deer Valley in the new Deer Valley East Village. Designed by ODA Architecture, the property will feature 134 guest rooms and suites, and 123 private residences with ski-in/ski-out access. The resort will feature four dining options, including a ski-in/ski-out lounge with an outdoor terrace and fireplace, as well as extensive wellness and fitness facilities—saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools, and a spa—to relax and recharge after a day on the slopes. Guests and residents will also have access to indoor and outdoor pools, an indoor sports court, an ice rink, and more than 50 miles of hiking and biking trails when the snow melts. Construction is currently underway; the resort is slated to open in 2028. —TW

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley

The first property to open in Deer Valley East Village, Grand Hyatt Deer Valley welcomed the first skiers and travelers to the area last season and continues to expand its offerings for the 2025–26 season. The massive stone-and-glass hotel is like a modern-day castle: It boasts 436 guest rooms—including a 2,000-square-foot Presidential Suite complete with a wraparound balcony, office, and kitchen—and 55 private residences. For food and drinks, there’s Remington Hall restaurant, Hidden Ace lounge and bar, and Double Blacks coffee shop. And for fun, there’s a pool with spectacular panoramic views, three hot tubs, a fitness center, game room, the newly opened Agaci Spa, and a large outdoor terrace with firepits and lawn games. If you’re in need of ski rentals, equipment can be delivered directly to your room and custom-fitted via Ski Butlers. This family-friendly hotel also welcomes Fido (for a fee) and offers branded bowls and beds, plus a dedicated dog run, for the duration of your stay. 1702 Glencoe Mountain Way —TW

Following a $21 million renovation, the former Park City Peaks Hotel has been reimagined as Hotel Thaynes (named after the historic Thaynes Chairlift, a three-mile mineshaft turned underground ski lift in the 1960s), now part of Marriott International’s boutique Tribute Portfolio collection. Upgrades to the 128-room property include spa-inspired bathrooms, new balconies, ski storage facilities, an expanded sauna, a fitness center, an indoor and outdoor pool, and an overall design refresh featuring warm colors and art installations. The popular on-site restaurant, Versante Hearth + Bar, remains, but with a fresh new look. 2346 Park Ave —TW

When it comes to jewelry trends, “Big diamonds are making a comeback,” says Dominique Anderson of O.C. Tanner Jewelers. From sparkling pendants and tennis necklaces to statement earrings and cocktail rings, bling-bling is the thing. But it’s not all about bold looks: “Mini watches are also hot right now—Cartier has so many fabulous styles,” adds Anderson, including petite versions of the Baignoire de Cartier, Panthère de Cartier, Tank Louis Cartier, and Tank Américaine watches. 416 Main St —TW

For a fashion and beauty fix, head to Cake Boutique, which occupies two adjoining stores on Main Street (one store features clothing and accessories, the other offers makeup and skincare).
