Happy National S'mores Day!
In celebration of the sticky-gooey-sweet campfire treat and wedding-dessert favorite, we present three delicious ways to serve s'mores at your Salt Lake or Park City shindig (don't be surprised if your guests ask for s'more):
1) S'mores Cake
Work with your local baker to create this new twist on the traditional wedding cake: serve guests mini s'mores cakes like these scrumptious custard versions by Hint of Vanilla.
2) Custom S'mores Bar
Let guests make their own graham-cracker creations with a custom s'mores bar, like this version by local caterer Culinary Crafts for Katie & Nick's Real Utah Wedding featuring homemade marshmallows and toppings like caramel, peanut butter, sea salt, and toffee bits.
3) S'mores Ice Cream Sandwiches
S'mores are fine and dandy on their own, but mix the main ingredients (mallows, chocolate, and crushed graham crackers) with vanilla or rocky road ice cream from The Bee's Knees and then sandwich it all between graham crackers? (a la this recipe) Well, that's just downright decadent.
