WHERE THEY MET They both went to Rollins College in Florida, but they met at the airport check-in counter; they were on the same flight. HOW HE PROPOSED He surprised her the day after Christmas in her hometown in Portugal; she was traveling there with her family for the holiday and he said he couldn’t join them but showed up and popped the question.
