Utah Fashion Week Kicks Off February 25

The catwalks and finery of New York Fashion Week have come to a stylish close, but the sartorial festivities here at home are just getting started. On February 25, Utah Fashion Week (formerly Provo Fashion Week) kicks off with three days of runway presentations by local, independent designers.

The lineup includes fashion shows featuring daywear, evening wear, bridal, and menswear collections by up-and-comers and established Utah designers, like this two-piece wedding gown by Natalie Wynn Design and suit by Perfectly Suited (see a full list of photo credits below).

Utah Fashion Week Schedule

WHAT: UP-AND-COMING

WHERE: Gateway Mall - 90 S. Rio Grande, SLC

WHEN: Thursday, February 25 at 7 p.m.

This show will feature daywear, evening wear, and bridal from emerging designers. Featured designers include: Tayler Clark, Winnet Murahwa, Rebekah Silver Jackson, BreeKel Orton, Laurel Herbert, Anna Tsykalova, Tayler Stokes, Anna Gregory, Cassie Leyva, Miss Magelicutti, and Kathryn Meacham.

WHAT: EVENING WEAR & AVANT-GARDE

WHERE: The Falls Event Center at Trolley Square

WHEN: Friday, February 26 at 7 p.m.

Evening gowns, avant-garde designs, and designs made of unconventional materials (think "Project Runway" style) will walk the catwalk. Featured designers include: Alexis Puglisi, Rachael Domingo, Rebecca Fenton, Cartier Dior, Sterling Bitsue, McQuiston Marie, Credo Honorine, and Janay Marie.

WHAT: DAYWEAR & COCKTAIL

WHERE: The Falls Event Center at Trolley Square

WHEN: Saturday, February 27 at 2:30 p.m.

This runway presentation will show casual clothing to day dresses and cocktail pieces. Featured designers include: Melody Noy, Aleksandra Salo, Cliché Creativity, Brittney Lauritzen, Sinda Compton, Natalie Wynn, Franklynn James, and Alyssa Henke.

WHAT: BRIDAL

WHERE: The Falls Event Center at Trolley Square

WHEN: Saturday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m.

While this show features primarily bridal gowns, there will also be a great variety of designs for bridesmaids and grooms. Featured designers include: Natalie Wynn, Janay Marie, W. N. Ferreira, Guia Soleta, R. Nibley Designs, Rachel Elizabeth Designs, Garth Peay of Perfectly Suited, and Zaiya Collection.
