Engagement Shoot: Rebecca & Ronnie at The Charcoal Loft
This simple yet beautiful engagement shoot by Maria Corona Photography is proof that when it comes to couple's photography, as with life, all you need is love (and maybe a pretty dress/cute puppy).
Maria captured Rebecca Barsdorf & Ronnie Green at The Charcoal Loft in downtown Salt Lake City. The newlyweds (they tied the knot on June 26 in San Diego, California!) met in Utah in 2013 and have been attached at the hip ever since. Below, check out photographs of the South African beauty and her California hubby, and read more about their love story.
Photographer Maria Corona shares the scoop on this California-by-way-of-Utah couple:
Ronnie is a California boy, born and raised. He is a musician who loves art and the mountains. Rebecca was born in South Africa. They both love anything bohemian, Mid-century modern, and Art Deco, as well as fashion, architecture, furniture, art galleries, and The Beatles.
They met in Utah in the summer of 2013 and from that moment they've been glued to each other. After a year together, they were apart for a large amount of time when Ronnie moved for work to California. They decided life apart wasn't worth living at all, so Rebecca moved to Southern California so they could be close to each other. They love the beach and to explore new food, places, and people.
Last November, Ronnie took a trip to Italy (where he lived for two years) and bought a handmade Italian jewelry box in Sorrento to hold Rebecca's custom ring. He proposed on Thanksgiving morning and Rebecca said, "Yes!"
Congratulations, Rebecca and Ronnie! Thank you, Maria, for sharing this engagement shoot with us!
