WHAT: April showers bring May flowers—or in this case, flowers and calligraphy.

Learn to style romantic, wild, and organically beautiful blooms with Soil & Stem and the art of pen-to-paper flourish with Wildfield Paper Co during this spring workshop. Participants will flex their green thumbs while creating a writing desk floral arrangement from the season's bounty of peonies, garden roses, and sweet peas, as well as the basic techniques to get started with modern calligraphy.

"We are really excited that this class occurs the day before Mother's Day for those who either want to give the class as a gift or make something for their mother at the class, such as flowers or a hand-written poem or letter," says Soil & Stem's Nicole Land. "It's also a great class for those DIY brides who want a nice introduction to floral arranging and calligraphy."
