Jordyn & Cooper's Big Cottonwood Canyon Engagement Shoot
One peek at the Instagram feed @UtahIsRad, and it's clear to anyone living in or out of our great state that the Beehive isn't lacking for spectacular natural backdrops and photo-worthy landscapes.
So when it came time for Jordyn Noelle Stratton and Cooper David Swenson to pose for their engagement photos (he proposed at her family's orchard underneath her favorite tree which he decorated with twinkling lights—"It was beautiful and simple," she says), the Orem couple and local photographer Maria Corona headed for our great outdoors. "I love the woods and Maria found the best setting up the canyon," recalls Stratton. "It was gorgeous and such a rich location."
The nature theme doesn't stop there: Swenson popped the question with a ring featuring leaf-shaped diamonds ("It's the most beautiful thing I own," says Stratton), and they recently made it official at a botanical-themed celebration on March 14.
Below, check out their engagement photos captured on the rocks and in the snow (including an impromptu snowball fight), then go get outside.
