Cathedral Courtyard & Lush Greens Styled Wedding Shoot
On this eve of Christmas Eve, we're sharing this Cathedral Courtyard and Lush Greens styled shoot by Erin Kate Photography and Soil & Stem. Photographed outside The Cathedral of the Madeleine in downtown Salt Lake City, the shoot features simple, fresh, and elegant details, including a wildly beautiful bouquet, clean and classic bridal style, a chic naked chocolate cake, and hints of shiny heirloom silver and antique jewelry. Check out the photographs below, and read on for more info about the shoot from Nicole Land of Soil & Stem.
"Gargoyles peered over the jagged pitches of the roof, while pigeons swooped and cooed around us during this lush courtyard style shoot.
Our color palette allowed us to focus on the simple, natural textures of our subject matter: the porous cement, heirloom silver, and the infinite patterns of layered greens that included ferns, eucalyptus, foraged vines, and incredible peppermint-scented felt geranium.
Our bridal bouquet was a bit wild but also timeless, as if it was freshly picked from an overgrown secret garden. This beauty was hand-tied in antique French silk ribbon in the most beautiful shade of dove gray I've ever seen.
We hope brides will find that simple, clean beauty can pair well with unruly, lush stems in this elegant courtyard shoot."
Thank you Nicole, Erin, and Co. for sharing this shoot with us!
Wishing you all a happy, jolly, feliz, and merry holiday season!
