Real Utah Wedding: Nicole & Nathan Perry

Years of friendship blossomed into love for today's featured couple, Nicole and Nathan Perry. The duo recently tied the knot on a rainy day in downtown Salt Lake City. Their big city wedding featured glam black and white details, from the bride's glittering beaded gown and classic floral bouquet to the bridesmaids' chic sequined skirts and the flower girls' darling Audrey-Hepburn-in-Breakfast-at-Tiffany's inspired attire (complete with oversized sunnies and pearls). After being friends for six years Nicole and Nathan finally began dating and tied the knot only a year later. Nicole wanted her wedding to feel “glam” because that’s how she lives her life! I absolutely adore her Thea slip dress, classic color palette, and sparkly bridesmaids' attire. Plus, the flower girls are to die for in their black tutu dresses and glam sunglasses. They walked around all day carrying Nicole’s veil behind her---too adorable! Another detail I loved was the bride’s heirloom vintage jewelry and the pin on her bouquet featuring a photo of her sister who is living abroad and couldn’t attend the wedding.

Towards the end of the couple's photo session, mother nature graced us with cold, torrential rain but Nathan and Nicole stayed in high spirits for the remainder of the shoot. I love nothing more than a couple who won’t let anything spoil their day.
