Love Song: Utah Gay Couple Says "I Do" at the Grammy Awards

By Tessa Woolf January 28, 2014

We, along with 11 million others, fell in love with Utah couple Dustin Reeser and Spencer Stout after seeing their heartwarming, flash mob proposal video at a Salt Lake City Home Depot that went viral on YouTube last summer. So we were pretty excited thrilled overjoyed when we heard the duo had said "I do" during a mass wedding celebration at the 2014 Grammy Awards last Sunday.

The "Home Depot boys," as they are lovingly referred to, were among the 30-plus gay and straight couples who tied the knot at the Staples Center in L.A. on national TV. Queen Latifah officiated, while Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and Mary Lambert provided the ceremony music via a performance of their hit song, "Same Love." Even Madonna made an appearance. (How many people can say that happened on their big day?)

In cased you missed it, check out this video of the emotional performance and marriage ceremony:

Congratulations, Dustin and Spencer! To hear more about the Utah couple's experience at the Grammy Awards, check out this video interview with Fox13 News.
