Field of Dreams: Bridal Concept Shoot by Jessica White Photography

By Tessa Woolf August 30, 2013

It was love at first sight when we saw this boho-inspired bridal concept shoot by Jessica White Photography. Show us a free-spirited bride with a beautifully wild bouquet dressed in easy, breezy frocks, a lace headscarf, and rugged boots, and, well, we fall hard. White teamed up with Hair and Makeup by Steph, Studio Stems, and Ruche to bring the dreamy photo shoot to life. We feature a few snapshots from the shoot in the Look Smart section of our current issue, but we're sharing the full shebang with you today. Enjoy!

Photographer Jessica White shares her inspiration for the shoot:

I started gathering ideas for this inspiration shoot by dreaming up headscarf/head wrap looks for a bride. I wanted to create something that is not commonly seen in the bridal world, yet elegant enough that a classic bride could wear the look. Steph, the hair and makeup artist, and I originally wanted to showcase a really casual headscarf made of cotton, but as the details came together and we found the dress from Ruche, we knew we needed a more feminine approach. So we went with the lace headscarf! Wearing the headscarf across the forehead and on top of the hair is a unique way of wearing a bridal headpiece and brings out a brides' "bohemian" flair.

Thank you Jessica for sharing these gorgeous photos with us today!

Have a happy Labor Day weekend, friends!
