Real Utah Wedding: Mardi Gras-Inspired Wedding at St. Regis Deer Valley | Pepper Nix Photography

By Tessa Woolf February 12, 2013

Mardi Gras season is in full swing in New Orleans, and today officially marks Fat Tuesday. We may be miles away from the festivities, but we're getting in on the fun with this Mardi Gras-inspired wedding from Pepper Nix Photography.

Bride Camille and groom Greg hail from the South, but when it came time to get hitched they hopped on a plane and headed for the hills, er, mountains of Park City. They held their September destination wedding at the St. Regis Deer Valley. A sunny outdoor ceremony was followed by a rockin' reception, complete with Mardi Gras traditions such as a trinket-filled king's cake, second line dancing with parasols and handkerchiefs, and heaps of beads for guests (no flashing required). The couple even incorporated a color palette of purple, green, and gold--traditional Mardi Gras hues.

Enjoy a peek at Camille and Greg's Big Easy bash!

Congrats Camille and Greg! Thank you, Pepper, for sharing this Mardi Gras-inspired wedding with us. Happy Fat Tuesday, folks!

Pssst! Want to enjoy some Mardi Gras fun locally? Check out the Swamp Boogie at Gracie's in downtown SLC tonight.
