Best Tressed: Braids
Braids have been a big beauty trend for the past few years, but we're still loving all the pretty plaits--especially for brides and bridesmaids. Woven hairstyles are an easy, effortless way to fancify your locks for your wedding day without looking too fussy. (See recent bride Margherita Missoni's crown of boho-chic braids for proof.) Plus, if you're planning on dancing on your big day (we sure hope you are!), a braided style will help keep your tresses out of your eyes and off of your face, so your strands won't be a greasy, limp mess by the end of the night.
Chat with your stylist about the best braided looks for your locks, and schedule a test-run prior to the big day (don't forget to bring along any hair accessories like a veil, headband, hair clip, etc.). Be inspired by these eight braided hairstyles we love for brides and bridesmaids:
