Two for the Road: Engagement Shoot with a '49 Chevy Convertible by Jacque Lynn Photography

By Tessa Woolf March 30, 2012

Happy Friday, friends!

Today we're sharing the engagement shoot of high school sweethearts Andrea and Brad, captured by Jacque Lynn Photography. (Is it just me or is there something so romantic about high school sweethearts who end up typing the knot? Such a great love story!) Andrea and Brad aren't the only ones who posed for the camera during their engagement shoot: Andrea's dad's 1949 Chevy Convertible shared the spotlight with the twosome. Check out the images below, then read on for more about Andrea and Brad, and the inspiration for their shoot!

Andrea shares the inspiration behind the shoot:

Our inspiration started with my dad's 1949 Chevy Convertible. My dad found his car rusting in a field in American Fork. Over the next couple of years, he worked every day to restore the car to it's original state. Brad and I were so in love with my dad's car that we knew--even before it was fully restored--we wanted to use it in our pictures. The location Jacque picked for the photo shoot, along with my dad's car and the beautiful natural light made for some pretty amazing pictures!

We couldn't agree more! Andrea and Brad are tying the knot on June 16 at Millennial Falls in Draper--congrats you two!

Thank you Jacque, Andrea, and Brad for sharing this engagement shoot with us today!

Enjoy the sunny weekend everyone!
