Share Your First Dance + Wedding Music Details With Us!

By Tessa Woolf August 30, 2011

For some, it's Etta James' "At Last." For others, it's Eric Claptons' "You Look Wonderful Tonight." And for others, it's a curve ball, like Glee's cover of Journey's "Faithfully" (like for my friends Sarah and Alex--believe it). Whatever song you select for your first dance as the new Mr. and Mrs., from a sappy serendae to an upbeat rock ballad, we want to hear about it!

Take Annie and Jim (above), for example, whose first spin on the dance floor as hubby and wifey was to Talking Heads' "This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)." The duo wed last August at the Empire Canyon Lodge in Deer Valley.

We're looking for first dance and wedding music details from couples--new and old--for an article in the next issue of Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom magazine!

Did you tear up the dance floor to a random song? Plan a choreographed dance number to wow your guests? Tell us your story! If you had unique/funny/interesting/heartfelt processional and recessional music, we want to hear about that, too!

Email me: tessa {at} saltlakebrideandgroom {dot} com.

I look forward to reading your first dance and wedding music stories!
