Dress of the Week: 'Cameron' Bridal Gown by Anne Barge
When it comes to fashion, I tend to think more is more. The more patterns, layers, and accessories the better. The same is often true of bridal fashion, as I tend to go gaga for gowns with all the bells and whistles: crystal embellishments, hand-embroidery, unique necklines, textured skirts, layers of lace--the list goes on.
But, every now and then, less really is more--especially with wedding gowns. Take this 'Cameron' bridal gown by Anne Barge, for example.

Part of Anne Barge's Fall 2011 La Fleur Collection, this strapless A-line gown--crafted of pearl silk Magnolia with a tulle draped bodice and draped below the natural waist--is fuss-free, sleek, and sophisticated (not to mention on par with fashion's current minimalist trend). Who needs bells and whistles when you have a fabulous fit, a gorgeous fabric, and a classic silhouette?
And if you, like me, just can't help yourself and your maximalist ways, a gown like this is just begging to be accessorized with a serious statement piece like a chunky necklace or chandelier earrings.
What do you think of Cameron? Would you wear this gown on your wedding day? When it comes to bridal fashion, are you a maximalist or a minimalist?
