Shopping Guide - Junction Commons

As a teenager growing up in Salt Lake City, I visited Park City frequently with friends to ski in the winter, ride the Alpine Slide in the summer, and stalk celebrities on Main Street during the Sundance Film Festival every January. But there was one destination we visited year-round: the Park City outlets.
On the weekends, we’d hop into my old Saab and drive up Parley’s Canyon blasting a Britney Spears CD and sipping Starbucks Frappuccinos—30 minutes later, we’d arrive at our destination, lured by the promise of discount prices and the large variety of stores, ready to blow some cold-hard cash earned from various after-school jobs. In those days, Coach, Gap, and J.Crew were popular stops at the outlet mall, and ironically all three brands—which still occupy retail spaces at the Park City outlets—are experiencing renewed popularity today.
Suffice to say, teenage Tessa was thrilled by outlet shopping, and two decades later adult me is still equally excited because the Park City outlets—now named Junction Commons (6699 Landmark Dr)—got a much-needed makeover this past year, and there are now even more shops and deals to discover.

New Look
The 35-year-old shopping center was due for a refresh when Singerman Real Estate began renovating the property last summer. Finishing touches of the 319,661-square-foot outdoor shopping destination were completed this fall, with the grand reveal and reopening party taking place in October. The Junction Commons facelift features a modern color scheme, updated siding, redesigned signage, and shopper-friendly enhancements such as a new seating plaza at the main entry and additional dining options: Chipotle Mexican Grill, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and Park City’s own The Border Food Truck.

New Shops
Of course, the draw at Junction Commons is the shopping, and the outlet mall 2.0 features a mix of more than 60 national retailers and local boutiques. Longtime favorites include Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Carters, Gap, Levis, Micheal Kors, Nike, Old Navy, Polo Ralph Lauren, Vans, and more. New shops include beauty mecca Ulta, as well as a handful of Utah-owned businesses: Blue Sky Nomads (handmade jewelry and accessories), Cecilia New York (designer shoes and accessories), Designer Digs (new and secondhand home goods), DownEast (apparel, accessories, and home goods), Fulfilled (refillable products), Locals (seasonal decor, gifts, and toys), Paint Fusion (art studio and classes), Park City Nails (opening in spring 2025), Park City Souvenir Co (local gifts and souvenirs), Relax In Comfort (zero-gravity chairs, massage loungers, and adjustable beds), Summit Exchange (new and secondhand clothing, home goods, furniture, and recreational gear), The Beau Collective (fitness classes and retail), Uncharted Supply Co (recreational and survival/preparedness gear).
