The Links Life Just Got a Whole Lot Sweeter

Life along Park City’s fairways is more convenient, family friendly, and luxurious than ever, thanks to an array of new amenities and developments coming online at several local golf-course communities, all aiming to elevate your game well beyond lowering your handicap.
At the heart of Park City’s first golf community is the Park Meadows Country Club (2000 Meadows Dr, 435.649.2460), which features an 18-hole signature design by Jack Nicklaus, built in 1983 and named a Utah Top 10 golf course by Golf Digest in 2017. A recent multimillion-dollar remodel, unveiled last December, transformed the clubhouse into a sleek mountain-contemporary facility showcasing new indoor/outdoor dining, a larger retail golf shop, ungraded and expanded locker rooms, and new cardio equipment and a movement studio in the fitness center. Phase 2—construction of a resort-style swimming pool and recreation complex—is under way and is slated for completion this August.
The first phase of the Village Center at Red Ledges (206 Ibapah Peak Dr, Heber City, 877.733.5334) opens this summer with a resort-style pool featuring a water slide and a zero-entry, beach-style shore. The family-friendly amenity complex includes a bar and grill, family-style locker rooms, large fitness center, kids’ club, small general store, and additional tennis courts. The center is an ideal complement to the new Nicklaus-signature golf park—a 12-hole, par-3 course perfect for families, where players can rent the all-the-rage single-rider golf boards.
Golf-course living is served up with ease at Promontory Club (8417 N Promontory Ranch Rd, 435.333.4600), which offers two new developments with contemporary flair situated on the Nicklaus-designed Painted Valley Golf Course: the Nicklaus Residences and Nicklaus Villas at Golden Bear. Located on either Holes 1 and 2 or 8 and 9, the Golden Bear neighborhood also is in close proximity to the club’s newest amenity—the Beach House. There, you’ll find everything you would at the beach: sand, water, cabanas, kayaks, paddleboards, and more. And in the winter months, a slope adjacent to the beach house is transformed into a tubing hill.
The resort lifestyle is literally a stone’s throw away at several recently completed or under-construction properties adjacent to Park City’s newest links, Canyons Golf. Frostwood Golf & Ski Villas, located between the 10th and 11th fairways, includes 25 townhomes with three- and four-bedroom floor plans and two-car garages. Fairway Springs Ski and Golf Villa Condominiums boast 46 townhome-style condos located on a private cul-de-sac overlooking the course above the Waldorf Astoria. The 60 townhome-style condos in Juniper Landing are conveniently located at Holes 9 and 10, while the contemporary Viridian offers 24 townhome-style condos situated on the 11th fairway. Finally, the Lofts at Blackstone Residences overlook Hole 13 and offer four floor plans for single-level living.
