Farm-Fresh Charm Comes to Kamas

Just a 15-minute drive from Park City, a charming white farm stand marked with a green goose has quietly opened its doors in Kamas, Utah. It’s the first public-facing outpost of Ballerina Farm, the family-run, social media–beloved farm led by Hannah and Daniel Neeleman. While small, this stand is the start of something much bigger.
Originally envisioned as a full agricultural tourism center complete with orchards, a creamery, dairy cows, shops, and more, the 14-acre property hit a pause when the Neelemans encountered permitting delays tied to the land’s wetland status. With approvals still pending, they opted to build something smaller that could serve the community now. Thus, the farm stand was born.

Stocked with Ballerina Farm’s A2/A2 raw milk (available only at this location), pasture-raised meats from partner farms, seasonal greens, local eggs, and pantry favorites like their signature French salt and sourdough flour, the stand offers a bite-size farm-to-table experience. More additions are coming soon, including a soft-serve ice cream truck and a few friendly sheep.
The stand also serves as a prelude to the Ballerina Farm Store, the brand’s much-anticipated Midway location, a larger retail destination opening soon.
“ We wanted to have something more complete by now, but it is fun to be able to offer something in the meantime,” says Daniel Neeleman. “When people would come to Kamas and drive by the farm, they couldn’t even buy a pound of bacon from us. Finally we have a retail option for people to get our farm products.”
While this stand may not have been part of the original blueprint, it reflects the heart of Ballerina Farm’s mission: bringing people closer to the land and the food they eat. And for visitors looking for an authentic taste of Utah’s agricultural heritage, this new stop in Kamas is as welcoming as it gets. Open Tuesday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
