The Robot Zoo

Explore the biomechanics of complex animal robots to discover how real animals work. Little engineers will delight in interactive, hands-on exhibits, such as how chameleons change color and a fly walks on the ceiling. It’s Worth a Dam? Beaver Dam Analogs and the Swaner Preserve
6:30-8 p.m. @ Swaner Nature Preserve
Learn all about Beaver Dam Analogs (BDA's), why Swaner is installing them, and what they are doing for the local ecosystem. Join Marshall Wolf, Ecology PhD candidate at USU, for an inside look into his research on understanding beaver mediated changes to stream habitat and ecosystem services on the Swaner Preserve. 14th Annual Filmmakers Showcase

Saturday Morning Nature Walk

Discover the Swaner Preserve with a guided nature tour, navigating the wetlands while learning about the diverse plant and animal species found in its grasses and waters.
