Park City Film: Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice

Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.; Sunday at 6 p.m. @ the Park City Library

A moving look at Ronstadt’s remarkable life, from singing Mexican canciones with her family in Tucson to her folk days with the Stone Poneys. Enjoy performance footage of the "queen of country rock" with appearances including Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, and Jackson Browne. General admission $8; students and seniors $7.

Bling Fling

Thursday Preview Party, 5:30 p.m.–8 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m–4 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.–2 p.m. @ Park City Community Church

The most extravagant accessory sale of the season—featuring gently used jewelry, scarves, purses, belts and more— benefits the Peace House, a nonprofit that offers safe haven and support to survivors fleeing domestic violence.  Make your shopping count and find treasures to gift—or not. The all-volunteer cast of "Giving A Bleep" delivers laugh-out-loud comedy in a truly local musical. Proceeds benefit area nonprofits.

Don't miss this original comedy/musical poking fun at all things Park City. The all-volunteer cast and crew collaborate on a hilarious show that gives back to Park City's nonprofits. Donations accepted in lieu of ticket sales. 

The Rocky Horror Show

Thursday–Saturday, 8 p.m.; Sunday, 6 p.m. @ The Egyptian Theatre

Revisit the classic, B film, sci-fi and horror genres while tapping those toes along to an irresistible rock 'n roll score—it’s a hilarious night you won’t forget.

Park City Museum 

Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.; Sunday, noon–6 @ Park City Museum

Explore Park City’s rich mining history through interactive and educational exhibits that take you into a mine shaft and old-time jail. Children can complete a “Park City History Detectives” activity, digging deeper into the past.

The Robot Zoo

Wednesday through Friday 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10–4 @ Swaner Nature Preserve

Explore the biomechanics of complex animal robots to discover how real animals work. Little engineers will delight in interactive, hands-on exhibits, such as how chameleons change color and a fly walks on the ceiling. Through January 5th. $6 non-members; children 3 and under free.

The Peace House's "Bling Fling" kicks off Thursday evening, and the shopping-for-a-cause continues through Saturday.

Bling Fling Preview Party

5:30 p.m.–8 p.m. @ Park City Community Church

Get first pick of phenomenal accessories, while enjoying catered eats and live music. All proceeds from the Bling Fling support the Peace House. Preview Party tickets $30 in advance or $35 at the door. The sale continues Friday and Saturday.

Comedy at The Rock featuring Mo Amer

Two shows: 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. @ O.P. Rockwell

Stand-up comedian and writer Mo Amer debuted his acclaimed Netflix special The Vagabond last October, and makes regular appearances on Hulu’s original series Ramy. He has also logged well over 600 shows on tour with Dave Chappelle, and appeared on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and HBO’s Crashing. And Rolling Stone named Mo one of the ‘Top 10 Comedians You Need to Know." Tickets range from $50-60. 21+.

Don’t miss the magic voice of the mega-hit “Fooled Around and Fell in Love.” Mickey Thomas carried Starship through the '80s and '90s as lead vocalist of Jefferson Starship after the departure of Grace Slick and Marty Balin. Tickets start at $49.

Teton Gravity Research premieres its latest ski/snowboard flick paired with an athlete Q&A, whiskey tasting, swag, and giveaways. Tickets $75.

Saturday, November 16

Saturday Morning Nature Walk

8:30–10 a.m. @ Swaner EcoCenter

Discover the Swaner Preserve with a guided nature tour, navigating the wetlands while learning about the diverse plant and animal species found in its grasses and waters. Keep your eyes peeled for an abundance of birds, elk, and perhaps a nesting sandhill crane. $10 per person, $5 locals, free for Swaner members.

KPCW's fifth annual Main Street Music Crawl grooves through Old Town this Saturday.

KPCW’s 5th Annual Main Street Music Crawl

Join the party on upper Main Street showcasing five local venues and 10 bands! Gather your posse and check in at O.P. Rockwell, The Spur, Flanagan's on Main, The Cabin or Crystal Park Cantina to begin the crawl, and soak up live music and great company as you move from venue to venue. 10 a.m.–6 p.m.@ The Jeremy Ranch Golf & Country Club 

Jeremy Ranch Golf & Country Club’s third annual Holiday Winter Market features 30 local artists, designers, bakers, fine clothing reps, jewelers and more. The market also has quick mini photo sessions for families: $50 for 2 poses, basic edits, and a digital download.
