Summit County unleashes all manner of live music—indoors and out—as well as a free Sundance screening of "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind," outdoor adventure, and beyond.

All Weekend Long

Flying Ace All-Stars Aerial Show

1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays @ The Utah Olympic Park

Prepare to be amazed by the gravity defying stunts of the Flying Ace All-Stars, a half-hour choreographed spectacle featuring Olympians, National Team members, and rising stars as this coordinated collaboration of athletes take flight on skis and snowboards.

A Chorus Line

Thursday–Saturday, 8 p.m.; Sunday, 6 p.m. @ The Egyptian Theatre

Step into a day-in-the-life of seventeen dancers desperate for a spot in the “chorus line” of a Broadway musical.  This “Singular Sensation” is directed by the Egyptian’s own Amber Hansen.

Indoor Climbing Wall

Saturday and Sunday, 1-3 p.m. @ Swaner EcoCenter

Kids of all ages can find fun at Swaner EcoCenter’s indoor climbing wall—and a host of eco-friendly exhibits to peruse when they need a breather. Harnesses supplied; please wear shoes with covered toes. Free for members; Fee for non-members.

This Nashville-based Texan brings his chart-topping country and Americana-tinged tunes to the outdoor concert series at Park City Mountain's Canyons village. Stake out your spot early. Free.

Summit Yoga Series

9 a.m.–10 a.m. @ Montage Deer Valley

Disney in Concert with the Utah Symphony

7:30 p.m. @ Deer Valley’s Snow Park Amphitheater

Relive the magic and excitement of Coco, Frozen, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and more under the stars as this multi-media performance unfolds with Utah Symphony center stage. Picnics, blankets, and chairs (on west side of General Admission lawn, no higher than 9” from the ground) welcome.  Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind

7:30 p.m. @ The Ledges Event Center, 202 Park Rd, Coalville

It’s a triumph of the spirit in this Sundance Institute Award-winning film. After young William Kamkwamba is forced to drop out of school because he can’t afford the fees, he continues to fight for his community’s survival by sneaking into the school library to research plans for a windmill-powered pump to irrigate land in his drought-ridden village in Malawi. Free.

Saturday Morning Nature Walk

8:30–10 a.m. @ Swaner EcoCenter

Discover the Swaner Preserve with a guided nature tour, navigating the wetlands while learning about the diverse plant and animal species found in its grasses and waters.  Keep your eyes peeled for an abundance of birds, elk, and perhaps a nesting sandhill crane. Free for Swaner members; fee for non-members.

Improvised Fairy Tales

3-4 p.m. @ Park City Library

Park City Improv turns your favorite fairy tales on their heads in this family-favorite event.

Renee Elise Goldsberry with the Utah Symphony

7:30 p.m. @ Deer Valley’s Snow Park Amphitheater

Relive the drama and excitement of Rent and The Lion King in addition to tributes to Aretha, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan and more with Hamilton’s Tony and Grammy Award-winning Renee Goldsberry under the stars. Park Silly Sunday Market

10 a.m.–5 p.m. @ Historic Main Street

Bike, scooter, or ride the bus up to Main St. for an eco-friendly, open-air market and street festival. Enjoy eclectic local and regional arts and crafts, music and performance art, antiques, imports and one-of-a-kind finds, delicious gourmet foods, and farmers market fruits and vegetables. 

Beethoven Festival

4:30 p.m. @Temple Har Shalom, 3700 Brookside Court

Award-winning Pianist Hsiang Jon Tu, Clarinetist Russell Harlow and Violist Leslie Harlow perform works by Saint-Saens, Debussy, Messiaen, Beethoven, Bolcom, Bartok, Schumann, Granados and Lizst. Arrive at 4:30 p.m. to enjoy a delectable buffet of gourmet cheeses, fruit and wine before the concert and during intermission. Tickets are $45 per person.

Utah Olympic Park Summer Attractions

From learning about the Utah Olympic Park’s unique sporting heritage in the free museum to taking a ride-of-a-lifetime on the summer bobsled experience, Utah Olympic Park offers activities for all. The park’s summer experiences include the extreme zip line, zip line tour, alpine slide, drop tower, adventure courses and scenic chairlift rides. Hours 10 a.m.–6 p.m. daily. The Flying Ace All-Star Freestyle shows start June 22.

Park City Mountain Summer Activities 

Check out a variety of adventures for guests of virtually any age. Hold on for the drops and turns of the alpine coaster, discover the mountain’s hiking and biking trails, or watch your family reach new heights in the Adventure Park. Golf is in full swing at the Canyons, too.

Deer Valley Resort

Scenic chair lift rides and lift-serviced hiking and mountain biking, afternoon e-bike tours, live music and delectable dining. 

Park City Museum 

Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Sunday, noon–6 @ Park City Museum

Explore Park City’s rich mining history through interactive and educational exhibits that take you into a mine shaft and old-time jail. Children can complete a “Park City History Detectives” activity, digging deeper into the past.
