Saints & Sinners Ball

Whether you are feeling naughty or nice, the Saints & Sinners Ball delivers plenty of mischief and mayhem along with the warm fuzzies of supporting the arts. On Saturday, March 16, Park City Institute hosts the 8th Annual Saints & Sinners Ball, benefitting PCI’s Student Outreach Program. “Student outreach creates a connection between young people and the arts—the magic, the hard work, the inspiration, the limitlessness of creativity. It’s transformative and it’s necessary,” explains PCI’s Executive Director Teri Orr. The program introduces area youth to workshops, master classes, and performances by the renowned artists who grace The Eccles Center stage. This year’s soirée will be held at the lofty St. Regis Deer Valley. The evening includes drinks, dinner prepared by Executive Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine Rachel Wiener, an auction, and dancing—plus, some surprise shenanigans. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to don a costume befitting the theme. For tickets and information, call The Eccles Center Box Office at 435.655.3114 or purchase tickets online a

Pedal & Pancakes

Looking to kick brunch up a notch? On Saturday, March 30, Enlighten Wellness hosts a Pedal & Pancakes fundraiser, benefitting local Meghan Higgins’ cycling-meets-affordable housing adventure. Think pancakes, mimosas, music, riding, and a feel-good cause as Higgins gathers local businesses (Lululemon, Enlighten Wellness, and Kodiak Cakes) and bike-a-thon supporters to crank up efforts to fund Bike & Build—a non-profit organization that engages young adults in service-oriented cycling trips to raise money and awareness for the affordable housing cause. Higgins plans to spend her summer riding across the country from Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Bellingham, Washington, and stopping in communities along the way to help with housing efforts. Pedal & Pancakes takes place at the Enlighten Wellness Center, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and is free to attend. However, participants are encouraged to pedal for the cause, donating $5 to join in the bike riding fun, plus $2 for each mile they ride. For more information, call 435.649.7413.
