Après at Silver Lake
1-4 p.m. @ Deer Valley Resort
Mike Rogers, traveling dueling pianist and local “Sautéed Mushrooms” band member, delivers get-up-and-groove (or just rest-those-quads-and-sip-a-beer) après tunes for the mid-mountain crowd at Silver Lake. www.deervalley.com
The Dusty Boxcars
7 p.m. @ DeJoria Center
Need to feel a little more country for the evening? Mosey on over to Kamas for Americana-tinged, acoustic-blues stylings of Kerry Strazdins and John Thomas Draper. 21+ dejoriacenter.com
Super Diamond – Neil Diamond Tribute
8 p.m. (doors) @ O.P. Rockwell
Two words: “Sweet Caroline.” Enough said. None of us can resist that “ba-ba-ba” chorus of that Fenway Park favorite and there’s plenty of other Diamond hits performed by this decade-old tribute band that will keep this club rocking out with a nostalgic lilt. 21+ www.oprockwell.com
Saturday, March 2
Silver Summits Challenge
9 a.m. @ Park City Mountain
The gauntlet has been thrown. Summit and ski or ride seven peaks, spanning 7,300 acres—all in one day. Terrain is mostly flat and accessible to all ages and snowshoe rentals are available. swanerecocenter.org
