From the Howl-O-Ween Parade to the nighttime parties, Main Street is the epicenter of Halloween celebrations.

Historic Main Street may not be very large, but it's the epicenter of Park City's entertainment scene. If you need proof, look no further than the festivities planned for Halloween. Whether you're looking for family friendly activities for the kiddos or a ghoulish night out on the town, Main Street is where you want to be.

Trick Or Treating for the Kids

Halloween celebrations kick off on Main Street with trick-or-treating for the kids. From 3-5 p.m. the street fills with tiny ghosts, goblins, princesses, ninja turtles, unicorns, and more looking for candy. Every year dozens of Main Street merchants participate in the affair so kids can have a fun and safe trick-0r-treating experience (and their parents don't have to drive them to a dozen neighborhoods)!

Howl-O-Ween Parade

It's not Park City if we can't get our pups involved in the festivities! The Howl-O-Ween Parade  is one of our finest traditions and residents really go all out to dress up their doggies. From tiny tacos, to ninja turtles, Yodas, lions, dinosaurs, and beyond, the dog costumes never cease to delight. If you want to join in the parade with your pooch, join the gathering on Lower Main Street (by the bridge) at 4:45 p.m. ahead of the parade. Even if you don't have a dog, this is a spectacle your Instagram can't afford to miss!

Bring the kids out for trick-or-treating from 3-5 p.m. and join the dog parade at 5 p.m.

Hit the Bars and Clubs

Since Halloween didn't magically line up with the weekend this year, many of Main Street's partying venues celebrated Halloween early. But have no fears, you'll still see plenty of monsters out on the town on all Hallows Eve. Deck yourself out in your finest costume and head over to the Downstairs (625 Main Stfor the Nightmare Before Halloween (part 3) for $2 vodka/whiskey and the sounds of Stereo Sparks. Or pop into The Cabin for their Badfeather Halloween Party, featuring Break On Through and Miss DJ Lux, for your chance to win cash and other prizes in their costume contest.

Looking for a more low-key Halloween adventure? Let Park City Film Series scare you silly with screenings of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Carrie at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.
