An outdoor après experience was introduced last season at the Goldener Hirsch and will be available again this season until mid-April 2025. The chalet blends indoor comfort with outdoor amenities, offering a homey retreat where guests can enjoy the restaurant’s renowned cheese fondue and a variety of shareable Bavarian-inspired dishes, as well as Champagne spritzes and delightful cocktails, after a day on the slopes. Multiple space heaters, a wood firepit, two midcentury modern chiminea outdoor fireplaces, sheepskin rugs, and bright red Adirondack chairs create warm, intimate spaces perfect for socializing and sharing stories. Live music on the weekends and a backdrop of breathtaking snow-covered mountains makes each visit truly magical.
High West Saloon

Conveniently located a ski ride away from Park City Mountain Resort, High West Saloon provides a memorable après-slopes experience. Take a right before the Town Lift Bridge, and you can ski right into the cozy, Western-inspired saloon. Open nightly until 10, High West is renowned for its extensive whiskey selection, featuring seasonal releases and beloved classics like Rendezvous Rye and Campfire alongside barrel-aged cocktails. But there’s more than just drinks: the saloon offers a diverse menu, ranging from gourmet popcorn to its classic chili and a Niman Ranch double-thick pork chop.
Viking Yurt
An unforgettable evening at the Viking Yurt, located at the top of Crescent Lift at Park City Mountain Resort, starts with a 25-minute sleigh ride, pulled by a snowcat. Along the way, bundle up with a blanket and take in the views of the starry sky, snow-covered trees, city lights, and splendid mountains. The yurt offers a warm and cozy retreat from the winter chill. Guests are greeted by a welcoming fire and a charming ambiance featuring plush furnishings and traditional Nordic decor. The multicourse meal celebrates a fusion of local ingredients and Nordic culinary heritage. Start with a warm mug of hot glogg, followed by a signature menu of hearty soups, exquisite main courses, and delectable desserts. The Viking Yurt operates from mid-December through mid-March, offering one nightly seating at 7 p.m. for up to 40 guests; advance online reservations are a must. Regular pricing is $225 per person (including tax and gratuity). Prices increase during holidays.
The Vintage Room

This popular post-ski venue at the St. Regis Deer Valley returns for its fourth season, with an expanded menu featuring fresh seafood flown in from the East Coast and Hawaii. Situated on the resort’s upper ski beach, The Vintage Room is a 1,600-square-foot heated structure with a spacious outdoor deck and cozy firepit. It is easily accessible from the slopes, by the resort’s funicular, or via a wooden walkway from the hotel. Inside, modern chandeliers glisten against a snowy backdrop while DJs spin tunes Thursday through Sunday. Behind a 30-foot wooden bar, mixologists serve signature cocktails, bubbly, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. Reserve a table in one of the raised VIP areas for prime views and people-watching. Open daily from 12 to 7 p.m.; 21 years or older only.
