The lobster roll at Freshies

Freshies Lobster Co

The classic lobster roll at this Utah favorite is as good as it gets—so good, in fact, it even beat out East Coast competitors in a national taste test and was named one of the best lobster rolls in America by BuzzFeed. Owners Ben and Lorin Smaha grew up in New England; they fly fresh lobster in daily from Maine and serve it on a New England hot dog bun with mayo, hot butter, and seasoning.

RIME at The St. Regis Deer Valley

Roll up your sleeves before digging into RIME’s lobster roll—you know it’s going to be good when butter drips down your hands with every bite. Helmed by Chef Matt Harris, also of Heber City’s Afterword, RIME serves up a wicked fresh steamed lobster roll with a side of crispy fries. Bring your appetite and extra napkins.

Slapfish

Slapfish’s traditional lobster roll is made with big chunks of meat lightly tossed in drawn butter, mayo, and lemon, and served on a toasted roll. For a twist on tradition, try the Lobster Grinder, with chilled lobster, shrimp, crab, and spiced aioli, all wedged into a split-top butter roll.
