Deer Valley Resort’s legendary 8-foot paella pan feeds hungry guests at Savor the Summit
Image: Eric Schramm
Park City’s rockstar status is, of course, largely due to its snowy winters. But we submit that it’s during the summer that Park City really shines, and for this simple reason: its events. Alongside a laundry list of outdoor activities—mountain biking, hiking, golf, fly-fishing, rock climbing, etc., etc., etc.—the warm weather months are chock full of special celebrations spanning live music, local history and culture, art, and food. From shaking your booty at Deer Valley to browsing artist booths along Main Street, the following are key reasons why so many Park City locals “came for winter, but stayed for summer.”

The Deer Valley Concert Series is always popular with locals and vistiors.
