LOMA Brings Modern Italian to Main Street

For those looking to explore a new culinary destination that honors tradition while celebrating innovation, LOMA, located on lower Main Street (hence the name), is not to be missed.
LOMA is the newest eatery from Park City’s Adam and Meisha Ross of Twisted Fern fame. Opened in August, LOMA offers a fresh take on Italian cuisine, focusing on quality ingredients and lighter dishes; highlights include hand-rolled pasta, fresh vegetables, and wood-fired pizzas.
“I have always loved Italian [food]; really, continental European food: German, French, Italian. I wanted to bring a certain type of Italian that was light, fresh, seasonal, and [made with] simple ingredients, not heavy,” says Adam. “I wanted to create a place that you could come in [and enjoy] off the hill, to feed and nourish your body, and then continue with your day.”

The menu, crafted by Adam and Executive Chef Jared Krom, will change seasonally and features classic dishes with a twist like the chicken Milanese topped with arugula, pickled onions, and polenta croutons. “I change the menu four times a year at Twisted Fern, and that will be the same here as well,” Adam says. “I want to keep things moving and fresh. We work with local farms like PaMaw’s Farm and Moonshadow. I will look at what is selling and listen to feedback. I am not married to anything on the menu.” But, he notes, his current favorites are the white clam pie and the squid ink fettuccine.
The ambience, designed by Park City’s Root’d (the design studio also revamped Twisted Fern), combines sleek lines with warm tones, creating an inviting atmosphere with stunning views of Main Street. “If you like Twisted Fern, definitely give LOMA a try,” says Adam. 900 Main St, 435-800-2822
