Check out these renewed seasonal events and festivals around town and around the area.

As vaccinations increase and Covid restrictions ease, Parkites are looking forward to the return of popular events that were canceled or postponed over the past year. While some events will look different, there are plenty of opportunities for locals and visitors to get a dose of summer fun.

Park Silly Sunday Market

Sundays 10–5 pm, June 6–September 26 (except 7/25, 8/1, 8/8)
This Park City staple will be renewed in 2021 with new vendors as well as old favorites. Executive Director Kate McChesney says, “We can’t wait for the return; it’s going to be a great summer!” parksillysundaymarket.com

Summit Arts Showcase

June 18–19
The annual outdoor art market hosted by the Arts Council will return to the Red Barn in Oakley and feature local artists, food trucks, and live music. pcscarts.org

This year’s Latino Arts Festival will be dispersed throughout town, offering greater access to events that include pop-up performances during Park Silly, a fine-art show at the Christian Center, and Park City Film and Sundance screenings at the Utah Olympic Park. ccofpc.org/latino-arts-festival/

Monster Drawing Rally

July 10
The popular live drawing event will take place outdoors in July, hosted by the Kimball Art Center in the parking lot of their new space at The Yard. pcscarts.org/monster-drawing-rally

The Kimball team is excited to return to Main Street this year with a slight reduction in artists and booths, plus two beer gardens to provide for social distancing. parkcitykimballartsfestival.org

Art on the Trails

Midway Swiss Days

September 3–4
Midway’s annual heritage festival featuring traditional Swiss crafts, food, and costumes will return this fall. midwayswissdays.org

Park City Wine Festival

September 30–October 3
The Wine Festival offers multiple tasting sessions this year to provide safer, spaced-out opportunities to sample hundreds of wines, beers, and spirits along with food events and seminars. parkcitywinefest.com
