On the surface, Collie’s is your typical sports bar: the décor is simple, characterized primarily by flat-screen televisions mounted on almost every wall, including an enormous Megatron TV. What sets Collie’s apart from its sports bar ilk, however, is the food. Menu standouts include the Tycoon fish sandwich: ciabatta bread stacked with fresh beer-battered and then deep-fried cod, crisp cabbage, American cheese, and house-made tartar sauce. You can’t go wrong with the house-smoked barbecue menu. And what would a sports bar be without burgers? Try the Widow Maker, and forget about having to eat again for a week.
