Some of the best deals on Park City dining happen during the off-season and many restaurants are offering specials the rest of November to entice people to the table.

With winter finally making a long-awaited appearance in Park City this week, we're all eagerly anticipating opening day for the area resorts. The resorts, however, aren't the only ones trying to entice visitors. In the lull before the winter season kicks into high gear after the Thanksgiving holiday, many of Park City's eating establishments are dishing out some fantastic meal deals. If you're not feeling up for cooking in the next few weeks or going all out on Thanksgiving, here's a sample of some of the best deals offered by local eateries now.

You can't get much better than buy one, get one free deals. Imagine a romantic evening a the Buona Vita Ristorante Italiano or the Glitretind at the Stein Eriksen Lodge. Grab lunch at Bangkok Thai, Bandit's Grill & Bar, or Good Karma Café with a friend for half the price. They're just a few of the dining hotspots offering 2 for 1 deals on entrees.

Game Day

Instead of vegging out on the couch at home on game day, meet up with your buds at the Double Tree Hilton's Vertical Lounge and take advantage of their NFL Sunday Ticket special. Watch the game on one of their six TVs while chowing down on $3 appetizers, $3 well drinks, and $3 PBRs. Another option for Sunday Funday is Myrtle Rose where there's buy one, get one half-off appetizers and new a new menu.

Happy Hour

Park City is sometimes called "a drinking town with a ski problem" and there's a number of happy hour deals around setting out to prove that. Stop by Club 412 at Bistro 412 for "half-y hour" where you can get half-off appetizers and bar food to go with your nosh. You'll find another not-to-be-missed happy hour at Shabu where $5 sushi and $4 sake is on the menu from 3-6 p.m. Thursday-Sunday.  We can all cheers to that!

Thanksgiving

Hands down, you'll find no better deal on Thanksgiving dinner than the No Name Saloon's "Free Bird" dinner. Whether you're a tourist in town or a seasonal worker unable to head home for the holiday, there's room for everyone at this annual complimentary Thanksgiving buffet. Come by on Nov. 24th starting at 2 p.m. to ensure you get some turkey and all the fixings.

Even if you have no special occasion in mind, this is still a great time to dine out. You can take advantage of these deals or the many other discounts by printing up one of these coupons. Most of the offers expire on Nov. 30th so grab them while they're hot! Bon appetit!
