Heads Up! Utah Resident Sundance Tickets Go on Sale This Week

Local individual tickets go on sale January 11 from noon to 8 p.m.

Make sure you set reminder to log onto the Sundance Institute website this week because Utah local individual tickets go on sale this Thursday, January 11 from noon to 8 p.m. MT, just one week from the official start of the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Individual tickets are $25 for films screening in Park City during the first half of the festival (Jan. 18-23); and are $20 for all Salt Lake City screenings and second week films in Park City. The tickets are available for purchase online only. You may only buy up to 20 tickets, with a maximum of 4 per screening. If you're not sure what films you want to see yet, take a look at the full program here, or take a look at some of the top picks from Sundance's Director of Programming

All individual tickets, as well as festival passes or multi-day tickets, will be available for pick-up starting January 13 from 8 a.m. to noon at either the Main Box Office in Salt Lake City or the Pass and Package Office in Park City (chosen at time of purchase). You must provide a valid Utah driver's license or other Utah state ID to prove residency, plus a copy of your confirmation email and reservation number, when you pick up your tickets.

If you miss this opportunity, you'll have to wait until the the general public sales start January 16. Remember, all tickets are first come, first serve so get them before they're gone!
