Summer is finally in full swing in the mountains and in Park City that means enjoying the longer, warmer days and cool, bug-free nights. There's no better way to do that than at one of the many concert events in and around town. Whether you want to party to that old time rock 'n' roll; dance to a funky, honky-tonk beat; or check out the world-renowned Utah Symphony, you'll find the musical spectacular you've been looking for at these five amazing concert series. What are you waiting for? The time is now to grab your friends and go get your groove on.

Grand Valley Bank Free Community Concert Series

This free concert series, hosted at Deer Valley's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., is already under way. A longtime favorite with the locals, visitors will also enjoy this year's program of musical talents. Pack a picnic, a cooler of beverages and get there early to stake out your space on the wide lawn.

High Star Ranch

Just a 15 minute drive from Park City, you'll find this new Summit County music venue in the charming hamlet of Kamas. Set against the backdrop of the Uinta Mountains, the High Star Ranch concert series offers up free outdoor concerts every Thursday evening during June and July. And don't worry about packing a dinner. The recently opened State Road Tavern and Bar Josephine are good places to grab a snack.

Deer Valley Music Festival

The Deer Valley Music Festival plays host to the world-class Utah Symphony this summer with this popular concert series.  Shows feature the symphony paired with guest artists from a variety of genres including classic rock, show tunes, pop, jazz, country, and, of course, chamber orchestral music. The Deer Valley Music Festival kicks off the Independence Day festivities on July 2nd with a Patriotic Celebration with Broadway's Doug Labrecque.

Saturday Summer Concert Series

By popular demand, the Saturday Summer Concert Series returns to Canyons Village in July. Bringing in musical acts from across the country, this free concert series is perfect for dancing with friends and family as the sun sets behind the mountains.

Sounds Of Summer Concert Series

A littler farther afield from Park City, local bands bring their music to the pristine mountain landscape at Sundance Mountain Resort in the Sounds of Summer Concert Series. This free series begins Sunday July 3rd and takes place every week through September 18th at Ray's Lawn. Don't forget your lawn chairs and blankets.

Still hungry for more high-altitude live tunes? Both Snowbird and Snowbasin Resorts offer free concerts series all summer long as well.
