Bask in the longest days of summer with celebrations ranging from Olympic Day and Savor the Summit to solstice yoga and outdoor adventure—plus top-notch concerts.

Flying Ace All-Stars Aerial Show

1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays @ The Utah Olympic Park

Prepare to be amazed by the gravity defying stunts of the Flying Ace All-Stars, a half-hour choreographed spectacle featuring Olympians, National Team members, and rising stars as this coordinated collaboration of athletes take flight on skis and snowboards. utaholympiclegacy.org

Patti Griffin

Thursday–Saturday, 8 p.m.; Sunday, 6 p.m. @ The Egyptian Theatre

Grammy Award-winning folk queen Patti Griffin brings her iconic, earthy, poetic narrative to the intimate stage of the Egyptian. parkcityshows.com

Solstice Flute Festival

Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. @ Homestead Resort

Soak in the healing powers of the Native American flute as a soul-filling, spiritual retreat unfolds with free workshops (flute, drumming, storytelling, shamanic sound bath, and more), artisan vendors, eats, and live music from renowned musicians, such as Kalani Das and Rona Yellow Robe. solsticeflute.org

Indoor Climbing Wall

Saturday and Sunday, 1-3 p.m. @ Swaner EcoCenter

Kids of all ages can find fun at Swaner EcoCenter’s indoor climbing wall—and a host of eco-friendly exhibits to peruse when they need a breather. Harnesses supplied; please wear shoes with covered toes. Free for members; Fee for non-members. swanerecocenter.org

Spring Into Summer Event

6–8:30 p.m. @ The Benson Building, 1622 Bonanza Drive

Stop by for food, fun, flowers, and wellness services from local businesses to benefit Fetch Cares!, a non-profit dedicated to our favorite furry friends.  Free food and beverages, raffles, and a showcase of some of the wellness services provided by the community.

Summit Yoga Series

9 a.m.–10 a.m. @ Montage Deer Valley

Recycle Utah's music-filled, thirst-quenching, family-friendly "Uncorked" event benefits the non-profit's glass recycling program.

8th Annual Uncorked Outdoor Concert Benefit

 5:30–9 p.m. @ Recycle Utah

Saturday Morning Nature Walk

8:30–10 a.m. @ Swaner EcoCenter

Discover the Swaner Preserve with a guided nature tour, navigating the wetlands while learning about the diverse plant and animal species found in its grasses and waters.  Keep your eyes peeled for an abundance of birds, elk, and perhaps a nesting sandhill crane. Olympic Day

11 a.m.–2 p.m. @ Utah Olympic Park

Celebrate the Olympic Spirit at the Utah Olympic Park with Olympic and Para Olympic athletes.  This family-friendly event includes food, face painting, bounce houses, crafts, and other spirited activities. Free (except tickets required for freestyle show). utaholympiclegacy.com 

Cheers! Savor the Summit fills Main Street this Saturday evening.

Utah Olympic Park Summer Attractions

From learning about the Utah Olympic Park’s unique sporting heritage in the free museum to taking a ride-of-a-lifetime on the summer bobsled experience, Utah Olympic Park offers activities for all. The park’s summer experiences include the extreme zip line, zip line tour, alpine slide, drop tower, adventure courses and scenic chairlift rides. Hours 10 a.m.–6 p.m. daily. The Flying Ace All-Star Freestyle shows start June 22.  utaholympiclegacy.org
