The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge Unveils New Mind-Body Experiences

THE LATEST TREND in spas? Personalized wellness programs with treatments tailored to fit a client’s health goals, from stress management to improved sleep. Right on cue, this spring, the Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge introduced an innovative wellness menu focused on healing.
“We’re fine-tuning our wellness menu to make things geared more to the whole body and what’s trending in the spa world,” says Breanna Samek, Stein’s new corporate director of spa and wellness. “Guests are looking for more than just a basic massage,” adds Samek. “They come to the mountains to heal and to start a new journey.”
Stein’s new Wellness Restoring Treatments target emotional and mental health. For example, the 90-minute Inner Wisdom Connection Therapy is designed to quiet the mind and open the heart; the treatment blends gentle energy work, guided meditation, and intuitive insight for guests seeking spiritual alignment. “This session offers a serene space to reflect, release, and realign with your truest self,” explains Samek. The treatment’s healer uses crystals and gemstones to promote alignment within the chakras by using energetic vibrations that interact with the body’s energy fields. Oftentimes, Samek notes, bad habits can be embedded in the chakras.
Another treatment intended to work on the mind-body connection is the Energy Reset. In this therapy, the healer uses gentle frequency techniques connecting points on the head, hands, and feet to revitalize and reset your energy to a more empowered state.

Of course, the Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge also has well-established practices such as several variations of massage therapy, facials, and body rituals, including favorites like the Moor Mud Detox Wrap and the Stone Crop Toning. The popular Mountain Reset (formerly called Sea to Ski) takes bliss to another level with a Lemi treatment bed featuring heated quartz crystals on warm sand, designed for relaxation and muscle recovery. Add-ons such as a foot mask or scalp massage are available for any session.
And if you haven’t reached peak zen status after your treatment, there’s more: indulge in a Himalayan salt sauna, multiple hot tubs, steam room, cold plunge, and outdoor heated pool. Can you say, spaaah?
