Park City Film: Honeyland

Sundance Award-winning Honeyland turns the lens on a young beekeeper living in the mountains of Macedonia with her ailing mother. When new neighbors move in and take up honey-making, tensions rise after they disregard her advice. Explore Park City’s rich mining history through interactive and educational exhibits that take you into a mine shaft and old-time jail. Children can complete a “Park City History Detectives” activity, digging deeper into the past. parkcityhistory.org

The Robot Zoo

Check out the biomechanics of complex animal robots to discover how real animals work. The exhibit includes robot animals and hands-on activities, which reveal how a chameleon changes colors, how a fly walks on the ceiling, and much more. Great for ages 4 to adult. $6 per person. Halloween Trick-or-Treating and Dog Parade

3–6 p.m. @ Main St.

Little ghosts and goblins are invited to Main Street for fun and safe trick-or-treating, compliments of participating merchants. Don’t miss the Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade on Lower Main at 5 p.m. Costumed (and leashed) dogs and their owners meet below the pedestrian bridge at 4:45 p.m. and parade marches to Heber Avenue. Keep in mind that Main St. will be closed to traffic starting at 2 p.m. Park at the Park City School District, Park City Mountain or Deer Valley and hop on the bus. historicparkcityutah.com

Books2Movies: Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase
