The 2019 Sundance Film Festival (January 24-February 3) might feel like it's ages away, but it's already time for the first round of passes and tickets to go on sale. Locals get first dibs on passes and tickets with the local only pre-sale which takes place on Tuesday, October 6 from noon to 8 p.m. (MT). This is locals pre-sale is two full days ahead of the public sale and is available online only. As always, it's first-come, first-served until sold out. Note: This is a pass and ticket package sale only. Individuals tickets go on sale for locals January 17, 2019.
For less hassle and ultimate access getting a pass is the best option at Sundance. Pass holders have priority entrance to screenings without purchasing any individual ticket. There are several different pass options, covering the first and second half of the festival, off-peak, and screenings taking place exclusively at the Eccles Center in Park City or Grand Theatre in Salt Lake City.
If you want to see several films, but don't need the luxury of a pass ticket packages are a great option. With a ticket package, you can select which films you want to see before the public. There are four different ticket package options, all are limited to one per customer.
