Why we love it: It was love at first sip of this dry, pale, fragrant California rosé by mother-daughter winemakers Melinda Kearney and Michèle Lorenza Ouellet. “Our secret is in the old vines that produce our grapes; several of our vineyards are over 100 years old,” says Kearney. The duo’s favorite pairing? Rosé and fried chicken—a new American classic.

Why we love it: Oenophiles buzzed about this wine when it first launched thanks to its affiliation with Hollywood royalty—Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought Château Miraval in Provence in 2008—but this lovely pale-pink wine is a star all on its own.
Where to get it: Order a glass at Riverhorse on Main. “With bright acidity, citrus, and floral notes, this wine is nice with anything Mediterranean,” says Michael Freyvogel, the restaurant’s operations manager.

Why we love it: This pinot noir–based rosé from the Dobbes Family Estate in the Willamette Valley features ripe, juicy notes of raspberry, strawberry, and stone fruit—perfect for backyard barbecues—and pairs nicely with fish, turkey, or spicy Asian food.
