Thanks to a fresh crop of patterns and colors (and new easy removal), wallpaper is making a comeback in a big way. So say Park City interior designers Paula Berg with Paula Berg Design, Natural Instinct’s Jo Ann Howa, and Sheri Russell with In Studio Design+Elevated. “I love the more organic feel of the new designs. It’s all about texture,” Berg says. “I like to use larger patterns in small, unexpected spaces,” Howa remarks, “like powder rooms or hallways.” Russell likes to use tactile cloths or large-scale crystalized images in her clients’ homes. “The design possibilities are endless,” she says. Following are papers representing some of the latest designs, from bold to subtle.
