It's hard to believe, but the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center for the Performing Arts is celebrating its 20th anniversary this season. From ensuring the Sundance Film Festival continues to call Park City home to providing a stage for underserved groups, the Eccles Center has become a cultural landmark and beacon for the arts. In honor of this momentous occasion, the Park City Institute is throwing a little contest, offering patrons the chance to stroll through memory lane and win a pair of Amethyst VIP Tickets to one of the remaining shows for the 2017-2018 season (see below).
How It Works
Entering the contest is simple, taking little more effort than a tweet. All you have to do is share one of your memories from the Eccles Center. “Whether you were at the Gala Opening in January 1998, or attended your first show in the last few weeks, we want to hear from you,” sayes PCI Executive Director Teri Orr. “This joint-use space is meaningful to our community. By collecting these stories, we hope to share the ways in which, through music, dance, and conversations, the Eccles has influenced our thinking, and our town.”
Just summarize your favorite experience at the Eccles (in approximately 150 words) and post it in the comments section of the Facebook post on PCI's page announcing the contest, or by emailing email@example.com. The winner will be chosen on January 13, 2018 on the 20th anniversary.
