The new feature length ski film from Matchstick Productions screens in Park City from October 6 to 8 at the Jim Santy Auditorium.

Are you spending your days daydreaming of powder, gazing longingly up at the mountains, and praying for snow? Then you need to drop everything you thought you were doing this weekend and get over to the Park City Library for the Park City debut of Matchstick Production's epic, new ski film DROP EVERYTHING. Presented as part of the Park City Film Series, the film will screen October 6-8, at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Jim Santy Auditorium.

This time  around, the filmmakers have decided to take a more comedic approach. But don't worry, they're still providing all the action-packed adventure, big air, face shots, and powder you would expect from one of the top producers of ski movies. Their promises include fewer athlete interviews and more stunning locations, slow motion, stellar cinematography, big sound, and your fair share of shenanigans as they follow some of the world's preeminent freeskiers into the backcountry. Atheletes featured this time around include Mark Abma, Markus Eder, Eric Hjorleifson, Michelle Parker, Sammy Carlson, Cody Townsend, Elyse Saugstad, Tanner Rainville, Chris Rubens, Aaron Blunck, Sander Hadley, Connery Lundin, and others!

Still from DROP EVERYTHING

While you can catch the film any day this weekend, we recommend grabbing tickets for the Friday night premiere. For that night only featured athlete Sander Hadley will be on hand to sign autographs and several presenting partners, including Toyota, Douchebags, Christy Sports Den, and yours truly will have tables set up with information and fun giveaways. Viewers can will have the chance to win skis, outwear, movies, ski tunes, and more. Doors open at 7 p.m., one hour before the film starts.

Although athletes and partners won't be present for screenings on Saturday and Sunday, there will still be a few giveaways from underwriters of the Park City Film Series. Tickets to the film are $15 and can be purchased here
